Naturopathic medicine is a distinct health care system that emphasizes disease prevention and optimal health through non-invasive, self-healing methods. It is guided by six core principles that focus on treating the root cause of illness and harnessing the body’s innate ability to heal itself. Dr. Sexton prefers a partnership with patients that includes a collaborative approach for optimizing health. She designs a wellness plan that is tailored for the unique needs of each patient. Treatment may include orthomolecular medicine, botanical medicine, nutrition, lifestyle, sleep optimization, improving stress resilience, hormone therapy and stimulating the healing power of nature.
